Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 12:00 am., 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
At our Consulate General you need to make an appointment in advance for each type of administrative issues. We introduced the online Appointment Booking System at our Consular and Visa Department. For booking the appointment please visit the following website.

Those applicants who have obtained the Hungarian permanent residency through the LMÁK program, for the extension of the permanent residency please use the visa.shg@mfa.gov.hu e-mail address for appointment. The above mentioned type of case is still not available in the online appointment booking system.
We are hereby informing our clients that the Consular and Visa Section of our Consulate General is closed on both Chinese and Hungarian national holidays and rest-days.
Please be informed that according to the office building security regulation the customers arriving at the Consulate General's Consular and Visa Section are required to sign in, register at the reception desk set up by the operator of the Consulate General's office building, or to enter the building via the QR code of the mobile app or the temporary card issued by the operator of the building.
During the opening hours please ring the bell next to the door of the consular and visa section, so the local consular staff can open the door of the waiting room electronically.
Additionally, please, note that the visa and consular fees can be paid by WeChatPay and Alipay or local / international bankcard at the Consulate.
