Changes in the appointment for applicants who have obtained the Hungarian permanent residency through the LMÁK program

Dear Clients!

We hereby inform you that from the day of November 22nd 2022. VFS Global is going to accept the applications for the extension of the permanent residency from applicants who have obtained the Hungarian permanent residency through the LMÁK program. To submit your application please proceed to the official website of VFS Global for appointment.

We would like to draw the attention of our clients to the fact that submitting an application at the offices of the external service provider is only an additional option, applications will still be accepted at the Consular Department of the Consulate General of Hungary in Shanghai.

Those applicants who obtained the permanent residency through the LMÁK program are only able to book the appointment via the visa.shg@mfa.gov.hu e-mail address. The type of case is still not available on our Appointment Booking System.
